TTU research team studies Hurricane Beryl

The Texas Tech University Hurricane Research Team (TTUHRT) was bound for Corpus Christi area on July 7 to study Hurricane Beryl when it makes landfall.Dr. Brian Hirth, a TTU research professor, along with his research team, logged in the 21st deployment since 2004.

The Dimmitt Athletic Booster Club announced the winners of the first DABC basketball tournament. Tagged as “the Olton boys”, the team took the whole tournament with no games lost. Proceeds and donations earned from the tournament were given directly to families of the recent car crashes.
