The Dimmitt Bobcats fell to the Friona Chieftans in a well-fought battle, 51-44. The Chieftans took the lead in the first quarter, 20-9, with the Bobcats overtaking Friona in the second quarter and pushing out ahead to close the first half 28-26.

In Texas, a Statutory Durable Power of Attorney is the legal document that you would use so that you, the “Principal”, can name someone, the “Agent”, to have the authority to handle your financial or business affairs if you’re unable to.
The Department of Justice is challenging Senate Bill 4 which creates state-level penalties for illegally enter the U.S. through the Texas-Mexico border. Gov. Gregg Abbott signed the bill in December and is set to go into effect in March.
