Why do we worry? For me, it just comes naturally. My parents were worriers. My mind goes back to final days before Mom’s death. She was recovering from lung cancer surgery, and we were making important decisions. Plans for Dad to enter assisted living were finalized.

Work on a $383,000 Texas Department of Transportation project to add rumble strips and striping to FM 1585 in Lubbock and Hockley counties and SH 194 in Castro County was scheduled to begin June 14. Contractor L&L Company, from Gardendale, Texas, will start work along FM 1585 in Lubbock County.
