Pink Ladies to host Make-A-Wish Benefit

The Pink Ladies will be hosting a Make-A-Wish-Benefit on Dec. 5 on behalf of the North Texas Make-A-Wish Foundation. The event will be held at Dimmitt Country Club from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Chili, hot dogs, Frito pies and all the fixins’ will be served for $10 per person.

The Dimmitt Lions Club, represented by Kay Gfeller, donated $2,500 to The Castro County Historical Museum. Leta Denniss accepted the donation on behalf of the museum, saying the donation from the Lions was “greatly appreciated” with repairs and improvements continuing at the museum.
