USDA publishes hemp rule

Two years after the 2018 farm bill legalized the cultivation of industrial hemp, the USDA completed work on a regulation to oversee production. While some are hopeful hemp could become a profitable crop grown in the United States, others ay there will be a low demand for hemp acreage.

During the New Year time frame, Dimmitt Robotics played three teams in a virtual scrimmage with the North Texas(DFW) area. Dimmitt teams 13755, 12398,15152 were 3 out of 8 teams that participated.

St. Ann’s to hold Sausage Dinner

St. Anne’s Catholic Church of Bovina will be having their annual German Sausage Dinner on Jan. 31. The dinner will begin at 11:30 a.m. and last through 2 p.m. St. Ann’s is located on 3rd Street in Bovina.
