COVID-19 continues to rise in region

Since the onset of Covid-19, the state of Texas has logged in 1,753,059 cases. As of Jan. 12, 2012, the state has seen 22,110 new confirmed cases and 3,191 probable cases and 286 newly reported fatalities.

Last Wednesday, Jan. 6 the U.S. endured an attack on our capital that will be written in history books as a horrific moment in the Republic. As the attacks are cycled on the news 24 hours a day, there is the question that lingers: what if it had been anyone else besides Trump supporters?

Deadly Mob Atacks Capitol

A violent mob of Trump supporters breeched the security at the U.S Capitol, causing the deaths of five people and injuring at least 58 officers. Among key arrests is QAnon Jacob Anthony Chansley, known as Jake Angeli, is from Arizona. He refers to himself as QShaman.

DISD trustees navigating to success

TFB pursing state legislative priorities

Texas Farm Bureau (TFB) is pursuing several legislative priorities to benefit Texas farmers, ranchers and rural areas in the 87th Texas Legislature that began in Austin. TFB will focus during the 140-day regular session on 11 priorities established by the TFB board of directors.

Bobcats defeat Wildcats, 56-43

The Dimmitt Bobcats claimed a victory over the Littlefield Wildcats, 56-43. Dimmitt took the lead in the first quarter 11-4 and widened the gap in the second quarter, closing the first half out ahead 26-14.

Bobbies fall to Lady Cats

The Dimmitt Bobbies lost to the Littlefield Lady Cats, 56-28. Littlefield took charge in the first quarter, 10-5, and drove out ahead with a big lead in the second, closing the first half, 27-8.
