Building back water/sewer funds is must-do slow going for city

Fund balances for the City of Hereford for the month ending August 31 showed slow going in building back water and sewer funds according to a report provided by Assistant City Manager Wade Hawkins at the October 20 regular meeting of the City Commission.

Applications for assistance from the 2025 edition of the Christmas Stocking Fund are now underway and continue through November 10.Application forms are available in English and Spanish at the Panhandle Community Services office, 1011 East Park Avenue, or at the Hereford Food Pantry, 900 North Lee.
