Steiert wins Texas Outdoor Writers awards

NEW SILVER LAKE PARK-- Steep canyons and limestone cliffs rise above rolling hills covered in native vegetation including live oak, juniper and other Hill Country plant communities. Several creeks and natural water features can also be found throughout the property including Sycamore Creek, Lost Creek at Silver Lake State Park located about 150 miles west of San Antonio between Rocksprings and Uvalde.
