Abundant moisture means good mule deer, whitetail prospects in Panhandle-Plains

We’re less than a month away from the opening of the whitetailed deer season, and just before Thanksgiving Day comes the mule deer opener for the Panhandle. The mule deer General Season will run November 22 through December 7 here in the Panhandle while in the Trans-Pecos the span is November 28 through December 14 in Brewster, Pecos and Terrell Counties.
