Deaf Smith County 4-Hers did well in District 1 speaking events recently and will be advancing to competition at State 4-H Roundup in June. Josef and Johan Grotegut placed first in Promoting 4-H. Taking first in the Sheep and Goat category was Sam Detten with his presentation G.O.A.T.

Longtime state Rep. Smithee won’t seek another term
