The 100 Club of the Texas Panhandle made a stop at the Nazareth Volunteer Fire Department to visit with and present the VFD with a $15,000 check. The donation to the fire department, as well as several other volunteer fire departments in the Panhandle, was made possible through a hat promotion by Hometown Hats Co. of Lubbock, Lubbock Professional Firefighters Association, and Amarillo Professional Firefighters Local 542, with distribution of funds through the 100 Club.

The Feedyard Technician Program is a program led by TCFA in cooperation with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and West Texas A&M University to provides high school juniors and seniors the knowledge and skills needed to prepare them for a potential career in the fed cattle industry.
