City officials eye a great 2023

With the end of 2022 ushering the way in for a new year, Mayor Roger Malone and City Manager Daniel Jackson are looking ahead with a lot of resolution to make things even better in Dimmitt. The past year has seen numerous changes and improvements throughout the city and there are more to come.

Nazareth FFA hosted the 2022 District Banquet with Chloe Birkenfeld being among the officers who assisted in a successful event. Brooklyn Birkenfeld was elected 2023 District Treasurer. The Nazareth talent team won the District contest.

Bright Lights of Christmas

The 2023 Chamber of Commerce Light Parade was a big success. The winners were: Best Overall - Western Equipment; Shining Star - Castro County Healthcare; and Most Festive – FBC Kids. Judges for the parade were Jonathan Sullivan, King Burney and Eliezer Garrido.
