Rattlesnake round-up set for March 11

The 64th Annual World’s Largest Rattlesnake Round-Up will take place on March 11 through 13 at the Nolan County Coliseum, located at 220 Coliseum Drive in Sweetwater. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. Day passes are available for the carnival.

Joyland Amusement Park in Lubbock will be holding a job fair on Feb. 26., 1 to 3 p.m. and Feb. 28, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The hiring event is in preparation for the opening on March 5 for its 50th season. Employees receive a monthly bonus as well as flexible hours.
