Bermea Construction was in charge of the project and some streets going into the area were closed off for a couple of weeks. Richard Bermea said he thanked the residents for having such patience and adhering to the road closures and inconveniences which affected school traffic.

State reports $3.68B sales tax revenue

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar said state sales tax revenue totaled $3.68 billion in March, 2.7 percent less than in March 2024. The majority of March sales tax revenue is based on sales made in February and remitted to the agency in March.
