The Winter Reading Challenge for adults is more than halfway finished here at Rhoads Memorial Library. As participants complete reading requirements, drawings have yielded weekly winners and will continue until the contest’s final date of Feb. 28.

The Social Security Administration (SSA) may suspend Social Security payments to Americans living abroad if they don’t submit the Foreign Enforcement Questionnaire.This form is required annually to confirm eligibility for payments outside the U.S.

FEMA accused of mismanaging hurricane relief funds

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has accused the Federal Emergency Management (FEMA) of spending $59 million last week to house illegal immigrants in a luxury hotel in New York City in violation of the law.
Castro County Healthcare donated Bumpas weighted stuffed animals and sensory toys to the students of Richardson Elementary School. The Bumpas plush toy is made of soft material, with a unique design that allows its arms to wrap around you in a heart-shaped hug when held against your chest.
