Charlie Lane, 72, a lifelong resident of Dimmitt, Texas, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025, in Oklahoma City.Charlie was born on Jan. 1, 1953, in Littlefield, Texas, to Samuel and Ollie (Haywood) Lane. He grew up in Dimmitt, attended school, and graduated from Dimmitt High School in 1971.

Norma Grace Smith, 88, of Dimmitt, Texas, passed awayon Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in Amarillo, Texas.Norma was born on June 11, 1936, in Foard County, Texas, to Norman and Grace (Matthews) Gray in a farmhouse 2.5 miles northwest of Thalia, Texas. She attended school in Thalia through the fourth grade.

Davis

Stratton Kade Davis was born on Nov.16, 2004, in Hobbs, New Mexico, to Nathan and Johana Davis. He came into this world six weeks early, full of fight and ready for life. Tragically, Stratton lost his beloved mother when he was just 10 months old.

Schoenenberger

Aurelia Catherine Acker Schoenenberger, 91, passed to eternity on May 20, 2025. She was born on December 18, 1933, to Andrew and Katherine Acker. Aurelia was the ninth of 13 children.

Gladys Marie Ward Howell, 86, a longtime resident of Dimmitt, Texas, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025, in Dimmitt. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 30, at the Restored Christian Fellowship Church, located at 303 W. Etter, Dimmitt, at 1p.m. with Samantha Schaffer officiating.
