The Nazareth 4x200 relay team (left side of photo) placed second in a photo finish at the state track meet. Runners include Tatum Peterson, Maddie Brockman, Clementine Myrick and Caroline Myrick. The Nazareth 4x400 Relay Team won their event at the state track meet.

Dimmitt High School held its Athletic Awards Banquet this last Tuesday to honor Bobbies and Bobcats athletes and managers in cross country, volleyball, football, basketball, baseball, softball, track and field, golf and tennis.

The Nazareth Swifts won both of the Regional quarterfi nals games against Borden County Coyotes with two big victories - 15-3 and 11-1. The games were played at Sundown High School this past Thursday and Friday.

The Nazareth FFA Chapter held its banquet on May 10, with 41 of the 46 ag students attending. The chapter has had a lot of success in 2022-23, with many competing at the state level and receiving scholarships.

Swifts take 6-2 victory over New Home

In advance of the Region 1 baseball playoffs, the Nazareth swifts won a victory over New Home, 6-2. The Swifts drew a bye in the bi-district round and advanced directly to the regional quarterfinals beginning on Thursday. They will face Borden County.
