November 11, 2025 – An estimated 1,446 home cooking fires were reported to U.S. fire departments on Thanksgiving Day in 2023, reflecting a 388 percent increase over the daily average, according to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).

Tulia Junior High Art Class had a guest speaker on Monday, November 17th. Jeannett Herring from Jeannet’s Art and Design talked to the students about the types of paints, canvases and tool that can be used for painting.Jeannett showed the students different types of paints and how to apply them.

Ky Criswell gave his poetry reading that he will be representing 4th grade at district. Koen Criswell is an alternate for his twin brother.

Tulia ISD honored veterans at the 34th Annual Veterans Day Program on November 11, 2025. Luke Moore and Elijah Lopez welcomed everyone to the program. The Pledge to the American and Texas Flag was led by Jose Verdugo followed by the National Anthem played by the Tulia High School Band.
