The Nazareth Swiftettes tallied up the 26th state championship for team, beating the Saltillo Lady Lions 53-31 at the Alamodome in San Antonio this past Thursday.The Swiftettes now have a national and UIL record for state trips and championships.

The Nazareth Swiftettes defeated the McLean Lady Tigers 64-36 in the Area playoffs last Thursday.The Swiftettes(25-9, 12-0) advance to the Regional semifinal on Feb. 17 at Lubbock Roosevelt High School to play the winner of the Sands/Gutherie game.
