A gifted array of regional speakers will make keynote presentations at the ‘Stewarding Our Water Future Conference’ coming up in March. Theconference will be held March 21 and 22 at the Amarillo Area Foundation’s Harrington Center for Philanthropy, located at 919 South Polk Street in Amarillo.

In a battle to the final buzzer, the Dimmitt Bobcats lost a heartbreaker by two points to the Denver City Mustangs, 46-44. The Bobcats took the lead by a single point in the first quarter, 13-12, with the Mustangs overtaking the lead, 23-21, in the second quarter.

Bobcats fall to Mules

The Dimmitt Bobcats were defeated by the Muleshoe Mules, 58-48. The Mules took the lead by seven points in the first quarter, 10-3. Both teams battled and shot evenly in the second quarter, closing the first half with Muleshoe still holding the lead, 27-20.

Bobcats best Chieftains

The Dimmitt Bobcats claimed a win over the Friona Chieftans, 56-49. The Bobcats started off strong in the first quarter, taking the lead 14-6 and extending the lead in the second quarter to end the first half, 25-12.

Bobcats lose to Golden Tornadoes

The Dimmitt Bobcats took a loss to the Lamesa Golden Tornadoes, 75-38. The Bobcats offense struggled in the first quarter to put points on the board, with Lamesa taking the lead in the first quarter, 14-5 and extending it in the second quarter, closing the first half ahead 39-8.

Swifts defeat Longhorns

The Nazareth Swifts claimed a victory over the Hart Longhorns, 70-26. Nazareth took the lead in the first quarter 10-3 and widened the lead in the second quarter to close the first half, 24-10. Nazareth shot for big gains in the third and fourth quarters and claimed an easy win.

Bobbies defeated by Lady Cubs

The Dimmitt Bobbies fell to the Brownfield Lady Cubs, 3226. Brownfield took a narrow lead in the first quarter and added to it in the second, closing the first half with Dimmitt trailing 15-7.
