Hornets, Cowboys, Roos welcome start of 2026 football season

This time nearly 110 years ago was Tulia’s inaugural football season. It was 1917 and according to the research the team finished 1-0. We don’t quite know who the opponent or coach was. Heck, the Hornet probably hadn’t even been designated the mascot just yet.

First Baptist Church Calls Pastor

First Baptist Church Tulia has called Kyle Streun to be their Senior Pastor beginning August 10.Kyle Streun has served in pastoral ministry for more than 30 years, leading churches primarily in west Texas through biblical preaching, disciple-making, pastoral care, and servant leadership.
