South Plains College in Levelland recognized students who were named to the President’s List and Dean’s List for the Spring 2023 semester. Hannah Ames and Alexandra Mora, both of Dimmitt, were among more than 300 students on the President’s list.

Governor Greg Abbott at the request of Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, called for special session of the Texas Legislature, was to begin Monday at 9 p.m. Only the governor can call a special legislative session. Lawmakers can only pass bills related to the agenda the governor sets.

The popular game show, Price is Right Live, is set to come to Lubbock. The Buddy Holly Center announced it will host The Price is Right Live™ on Nov. 10 at 7:30 p.m.
