Bobcats shut out Hornets

The Dimmitt Bobcats defeated Tulia on Saturday, 19-0, as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. The offensive kicked off in the first inning when Mario Lopez doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.

While both the Dimmitt Bobcats and River Road Wildcats had their offenses going, the Bobcats fell 21-11 in a high scoring game.

The Dimmitt Bobcats watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 6-4 loss to Friona last Tuesday. Friona got the edge in the second inning with three runs to Dimmitt’s single run. The Bobcats came in with another run in the third inning on a homerun from Ga’Quorie Chatham.
