Abbott bars mandating vaccines

Governor Greg Abbott issued an executive order prohibiting any Texas entity, including private business, from mandating COVID-19 vaccines.

Local calls to require 10-digit dialing

Beginning Oct. 25, Texans with phone numbers in the 254, 361, 409, 806, 830, 915 and 940 area codes must dial 10-digits (area code + telephone number) for all local calls.

Canyon Invitational XC Meet 2021

The Dimmitt varsity boys took top honors at the Canyon Invitational XC meet this past weekend, placing 1st as team overall against 63 runners. Jordan Garcia placed first individually, Azariah Gonzalez, 6th, Ryan Nino, 14th and Erik Rivera, 19th, giving Dimmitt four runners in the top 20.
