Hosted by the Dimmitt Chamber of Commerce, the Parade of Lights is set for Dec. 17 and will begin at 7 p.m. Parade floats may begin lining up in the parking lot west of Dimmitt Middle School facing north at 6:30 p.m.

The Nazareth Swifts dropped a game to the Canyon, 66-59. Canyon took an early lead in the first quarter, 21-7. The Swifts offense went into action, outscoring the Canyon team and narrowing their lead to 32-23. Nazareth continue to fire away at the boards, again narrowing the gap to 47-40.
