Nazareth Robotics kicked off the 2023-24 FTC Robotics season in Vernon, Texas.Nazareth has three teams this year of veterans and rookies. Team 16617 placed first out of the 29 competing teams.

Nazareth Robotics teams came out of the competition gaits running with a strong start to the 2023-24 FTC Robotics season. The first League Meet was held on Nov.

WTAMU Meat Judging team won the university’s first National Championship after competing in Nebraska this week. Ryan Heitschmidt from Nazareth was fifth high individual at the event and named 2nd Team All American.

The WTAMU Meat Judging team won WT’s first national championship this past Sunday in Nebraska. Ryan Heitschmidt from Nazareth is a member of the team.

Abbot signs bill banning vax mandates

Gov. Greg Abbott signed legislation banning COVID19 vaccine mandates for private employers this past Friday. Senate Bill 7 will prohibit employers in the private sector from taking “adverse action” against an employee who does not want to get a COVID-19 shot.

The business is located at 113 E. Bedford in Dimmitt and is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
