Ogallala Festival Best of Show featured the Lotus Blossom Special made by Sally Noland and quilted by Angela McCorkle. The show drew several hundred quilters to attend classes and admire the ‘quilt artistry and craftmanship’ required to produce the many quilts entered in the festival.

Golden Spread EC contributes to local VFDs

The Community Involvement Committee (CIC) of Golden Spread Electric Cooperative, Inc. and Deaf Smith Electric Cooperative are giving back to local communities with a cumulative donation of $7,200 to 16 volunteer fire departments, including the Hereford Volunteer Fire Department.
