The Nazareth ISD National Honor Society held its annual banquet to honor current members and induct new applicants. To be a member, students sent in an application outlining their involvement in the community and school and participate in an interview with Nazareth ISD staff.

County COVID-19 cases still rising

Castro County continues to battle COVID-19 as the numbers rise to 561 cumulative cases. According to Castro County Sheriff Sal Rivera, who also serves as the Emergency Management coordinator, of the 561 cases, there are recoveries, 32 active and 13 deaths.
