The Hart 5th grader recently had a learning module on urban/container gardening and Castro County Extension Felice Acker spent some time with the students discussing food preservation. She passed on information about the four methods of food preservation, foods that can be canned, and taught students to make Strawberry Freezer jam. Students made two batches of jam to take home to taste.
