Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar distributed to cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose districts $995.5 million in local sales tax allocations for April, 3.5 percent less than in April 2024.

The Nazareth FFA Veterinary Science Team were the championship team at the TTU Invitational last Thursday. Michael Fulkerson placed 6th, Gracie White, 1st , Olivia Raef, 12th, and Beck Paulsen, 2nd. They punched their ticket to state at the Area Championship: Gracie White – 1st; Beck Paulsen -4th; Olivia Raef - 7th; and Michael Fulkerson – 9th.
