Are you in a rut for meals? Need something you can have ready when you get home? Slow cooker meals are great for any family. Join Felice Acker with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Castro County Office to learn about meal prepping for slow cooking.

The Nazareth ag program and FFA will have an addition this semester. Paisleigh Wilkens will be doing her student teaching under Austin Heck. Wilkens is the daughter of Tony and Lexy Wilkens of Plainview and a senior at Texas Tech studying agriculture education. She will graduate in May.

The Nazareth Swiftettes won a victory over the Springlake Lady Wolverines on Tuesday, 62-21. The Swiftettes charged out in the lead in the first quarter, 24-7, and continue to out-shoot their opponents through the second quarter, ending the first half with a 38-10 lead.

The Dimmitt Bobcats were edged out by the Idalou Wildcats on Tuesday, 43-40. The Bobcats got off to slow shooting start in the first half scoring six points in the first quarter and seven in the second, giving the Wildcats a lead of 21-13 as the first half ended.
