Nazareth sophomore Chloe Birkenfeld is the new writer, editor for Paw Prints. Each year a student from Nazareth takes on the responsibility of getting community and school news out to the residents of Nazareth in the online edition that comes out regularly.

Gran Jamaica set for July 17

The Immaculate Conception Church will be hosting its 2021 Gran Jamaica on July 17, with lots of activities planned. The event will be held at the Castro County Expo Building from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Fish Donation to Sheffy Park

Zach and Sheri Smith donated a 1-acre package of fish to restore the lake at Sheffy Park in June. The package included 750 Bluegill, 200 Bass, 10 pounds of minnows, 200 Redear, 100 hybrid Bluegill and 300 Castfish.

Supreme Court rules NCAA violated antitrust laws

The Supreme Court ruled Monday that the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) went too far in blocking some education-related aid for student athletes. The decision comes as athletes struggle to preserve amateur status.
