Dimmitt crushes River Road, 10-1

The Dimmitt Bobcats scored a big win over the River Road beating them, 10-1 on last Thursday. The Bobcats kicked off the first inning, scoring two runs on an error, while keeping River Road runs to zero.

Bobbies drop game to Lady Cats

The Dimmitt Bobbies fell to the Littlefield Lady Cats, 15-4. “Exciting game to watch, but we fell short in the fourth inning allowing seven runs in,” said Coach Vicky Ruiz. “The first three innings the girls played very well.

Golden Spread Classic set for June

Details of the 37th annual Golden Spread Classic were recently announced. The prospect, progress steer and heifer show will be held on June-26 at Mallet Event Center in Levelland. The event is TCCA sanctioned. Texas exhibitors only. Steers and heifers will begin arriving on June 24 at 10 a.m.

Gerber nominated for Academic All-District

Former Nazareth Swiftette Blakely Gerber is among four Wayland Baptist Flying Queens basketball players who have been nominated for Academic All-District honors. The program is sponsored by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Naz FFA cotton judging team competed in San Angelo at the state contest. They finished 23r out of 102 teams.

Dimmitt wins one, loses one

Bobcats v Dalhart The Dimmitt Bobcats won a solid victory over the Dalhart Wolves, 9-2. The Bobcats offense put the team on the scoreboard with one run, followed two in the second inning and three in the third, to put them in the lead 6-0.
