Southwest Cotton Physiology Conference set Feb. 10-12 in Lubbock

The Southwest Cotton Physiology Conference will be held Feb. 10-12 at the Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center at Lubbock, 1102 E. Farm-to-Market Road 1294. The event is hosted by Texas A&M AgriLife, Kansas State University and Oklahoma State University.The program will begin at 1 p.m.

Central Church of Christ

The Central Church of Christ meets every Sunday at 148 Sunset, the corner of Sunset & Plains, in Hereford. Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m.; Morning worship begins at 10:30 a.m.; and the Sunday evening worship begins at 6:00 p.m. We also meet every Wednesday at 7 p.m.

La Madre Mia Study Club met at Cherry Laws’ home, with Cherry Laws and Angela Blackmon co-hosting for the January 22 meeting. The meeting was organized by the Yearbook Committee and was titled “Mystery Meeting.

Deaf Smith County Sheriff’s Dept. January 25 Jesus Alberto Garcia was arrested for driving while intoxicated, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.Herman Nanez was arrested for accident involving damage to vehicle greater than or equal to $200, parole violation.
