DMS, ACE Robotics compete in TT GEAR contest

Dimmitt Middle School Robotics teams participated in the Texas Tech GEAR contest on March 12, coming out of the competition with several top honors. ACE elementary students also competed at the event. DMS students were among 118 teams from around the Texas Panhandle to compete.

I read an article yesterday about a teacher going through chemotherapy that is still working. In fact she takes her computer to the chemo treatments because she loves what she does so much that she will not allow her circumstances to deter her love of teaching her students.

We have received reports of a new COVID-19 vaccine email scam where people are asked to complete a survey. They offer a free reward but ask people to pay a nominal fee “to cover shipping”. Survey scams like this are a creative way to steal identity or money.
