Cold front pounds Panhandle

As the first serious cold front rolled into the Texas Panhandle and Castro County, roads became hazardous and freezing weather, sleet, freezing rain and some snow consumed the area, causing some school delays and closures on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Medicare Open Enrollment prime time for fraud

Open enrollment for Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage plans started Oct. 15 and runs through Dec. 7, and fraud abounds when dealing with agents and companies set on selling people a plan they don’t need.
